Laminate Wood Flooring
Remove loose dirt with a dust mop or a gentle vacuum paying special attention to areas with lots of foot traffic.
Laminate Flooring could sustain steam damage due to the elevated temperatures from steam mops. (Refer to Manufacturer’s Warranty)
Wipe up spills right away.
Only use cleaners that are designated for Laminate Flooring such as BONA®. Do not to saturate the floor with the cleaner as it could cause damage.
Do not clean using excessive water as it could cause your Flooring to buckle or separate.
Certain cleaners can scratch the surface of your Laminate Flooring, such as steel wool or scouring powders. Do not use them to clean your Flooring.
Use Area Rugs and Runners – Use rugs and runners in high-traffic areas on your new carpet. This will minimize both soiling and crushing in these areas.
Vacuum Carpet Regularly – Vacuuming on a regular basis is another way to keep carpets looking fresh because it eliminates dirt in the fibers of the carpet.
Spray or Powder Odor Eliminating Products – Carpet powders and sprays can leave a residue, especially if you overuse them. If you must use carpet powder or a spray, use it sparingly.
Get Regular Professional Carpet Cleanings – Follow the Manufacturers recommendations for carpet cleaning. (See Warranty Manual)
Always clean countertops with a non-abrasive cleanser or a soapy cloth.
Use a trivet or hot pad when placing hot items on the counter.
Check caulk/replace caulk if necessary at all counter joints.
Always run cold water when disposal is in use.
To keep your disposal fresh and running smoothly, add a tray of ice cubes to running disposal monthly.
